Fantasy Baseball:Three outfielders to pick up in deep fantasy leagues

If you are still scouring waivers looking for diamonds this late in the season, then we have three outfielders for you to consider picking up. All three players are owned in less than 5% of leagues.
If you are reading this article in the second week of September, then consider yourself a serious fantasy player. If you are a serious fantasy player, then you will be on the lookout for an advantage to move up in your roto standings or to capitalize in your playoffs. We have three outfielders for your consideration that could make the difference in these vital last few weeks of the fantasy baseball season.
The Mets’ center fielder has contributed in all five standard categories over the last couple of weeks. Not only is he is on an eight-game hit streak, but the 28-year-old has three home runs and swiped three bags over the last 15 days.
During this time, the only outfielders with more extra-base hits than Lagares are Giancarlo Stanton and J.D. Martinez. That is good company to keep.
With Yoenis Cespedes and Michael Conforto on the DL, expect Lagares’ ownership of 1% to increase as he continues as the Mets’ everyday center fielder.

The 23-year-old is hitting .326 with a .925 OPS since reaching the big leagues. He has been an everyday fixture in the Cardinals’ outfield since joining the team at the start of September.
The Redbirds’ number five prospect has three home runs with eight RBI this month, building on a 20 home run and 15 stolen base season in Triple-A.
Bader is owned in just 4% of leagues and looks too good to be left on your deep league waiver.
Expect the ownership of the Mets’ former first round pick to jump up from the current level of 1% after his sensational game on Thursday, September 7 when he went 3-for-4 with two home runs and a double vs. the Reds.
This was the second three-hit game for Nimmo over his last four appearances, and the left-hander is hitting .389 this month.
Although Nimmo endured a disappointing 2017 in Triple-A with a .227/.364/.368 slash line, the 24-year-old has the pedigree of a top prospect and impressively has walked nine times in September, which ties for the lead with Mike Trout.
